Invitation to IGARSS 2022 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

On behalf of the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society and the IGARSS 2022 Organizing Committee, we are pleased to invite you to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for IGARSS 2022 that is scheduled to be held from Sunday July 17th through Friday July 22nd, 2022. Depending on the latest situation of COVID-19 pandemic, this is scheduled to be organized in hybrid mode with the physical venue at Kuala Lumpur Convention Center and over online platform.
This will be the 42nd annual IGARSS symposium with the symposium theme of “Preserving our heritage, enabling our future through remote sensing” and will continue the excellent tradition of annual gathering of world-class scientists, engineers, educators and students in the fields of geoscience and remote sensing. For the paper submission, in addition to the annual general themes, 4 special themes are also organized for IGARSS 2022, namely “UAV and Drone Based Remote Sensing”, “Remote Sensing and Disease Control”, “Remote Sensing in South East Asia and Developing Countries” and “Remote Sensing for the Sustainable Development Goals”.
IGARSS is recognized today as a premier event in geoscience and remote sensing and provides an ideal forum for exchanging up-to-date information about the latest developments, original and innovative ideas, identifying future trends in various emerging research areas and making contacts with the international remote sensing community. With intensive and careful planning underway we anticipate a technically outstanding and fruitful symposium.
For coming activities, you are most welcome to submit your invited session proposal (deadline: October 4, 2021) and tutorial proposal (deadline: November 15, 2021) through IGARSS 2022 website.
