First Street is hiring a Senior Data Scientist to join their Data Science team.

This role focuses on building and improving climate-hazard and geospatial models, with an emphasis on applied machine learning. You’ll work with large environmental datasets to develop new and enhance existing models, validate outputs against real-world conditions, and support the systems that bring this data into production.

The work is hands-on and technical, spanning statistical analysis, modeling, and large-scale data pipelines through cloud-based and HPC workflows.

First Street is looking for someone with a strong foundation in earth science and geospatial data, and experience deploying machine learning into production.
