Space4Water Webinar Series continues September 16th, 14:20 CEST, Alan Belward
The Space4Water Webinar Series is returning, and we would be delighted to have you join us for its next episode on 16 September at 14:30 GMT +2 (Vienna time).
Our upcoming webinar, “Guiding a New Philosophy of Water Management in a Time of Growing Crises,” will feature Dr. Alan Belward, a leading expert in satellite Earth observation and its application to environmental monitoring and policy.
For more than fifty years, Earth observation satellites have provided repeated and consistent views of our planet’s changing water systems. Dr. Belward will explore what this continuous record reveals about today’s water challenges, from vanishing lakes to catastrophic floods, and why shared satellite evidence can support a new philosophy of water management and governance.
The event launches the restarted Space4Water Webinar Series, “From Data to Action,” a regular forum where experts, practitioners and institutions can exchange knowledge, practical solutions and lessons learned on the use of space-based technologies for water management.
Please feel free to share the invitation with colleagues and organizations in your networks.
