Take the Global Centre for Climate Mobility Survey! Hurry it ends August 31st

The Global Centre for Climate Mobility (GCCM) invites you to complete an online questionnaire to inform the development of the Climate Mobility Adaptation Agenda (CMAA). The CMAA aims to articulate priorities for action to advance the implementation of the Global Principles for Addressing Climate Mobility.

The Global Principles for Addressing Climate Mobility enshrine nine key commitments anchored in the “right to stay,” the need for mobility with dignity, and the need for localized data and finance to support adaptation. They were developed through a Member State-led effort involving extensive consultations and ongoing diplomacy with more than 130 countries, supported by the GCCM. The Global Principles were presented at the recent Berlin Climate Mobility Forum (BCMF) and have so far been formally endorsed by 56 governments.

While the campaign to secure additional government endorsements continues, the GCCM is working with partners to develop the CMAA as the implementation blueprint for the Global Principles. Between June 2026 and June 2027, our goal is to conduct a broad-based process of stakeholder engagement organized around four strands of work:

Listening and diagnostic through sector-based stakeholder consultations
Action planning by multi-stakeholder working groups
Localization and “ground-truthing” through regional and geographic consultations
Integration and consolidation of the agenda for presentation at BCMF3 in Berlin

This stakeholder survey is part of the Listening and Diagnostic phase. It aims to surface the expectations and priorities of different stakeholders and identify potential deliverables, synergies, and areas of collaboration that the CMAA could help advance. The CMAA should reflect the priorities of the people and organizations already experiencing and working on climate mobility. It should also be relevant to adaptation practitioners whose work may have more indirect links to the topic.

The survey takes approximately 15–20 minutes to complete. Your input will help shape the zero draft of the CMAA, which will be presented in September 2026.
